SYNOPSIS

There is a war raging in everyone. At times within themselves and sometimes with others. There have been many takes on war worldwide. Charlie Chaplin mocked the war many times, using his one-of-a-kind comedy. In his short story “Ratri Kaval,” S. Hareesh, who won India’s most prestigious literary award, the JCB Prize, also writes about a war infused with intense humour.

The story revolves around two enemies named Sankunni and Madhavan, who are natural and skilled rivals like a snake and a mongoose. They don’t even know how or when their feud began, but they both know that they are each other’s reason to wake up every morning. They sharpen their wits to overcome each other, which is what they live for.

What happens if one of them suddenly passes away? On the night of the death, the latter arrives at the funeral to finish their epic feud in style.

North and South are two poles that never meet. Laugh along as you get pulled in between these poles with the magnetic effect of humour!

STORIES THAT MATTER

After all, the question asked at the end of a movie is – What was the
story? Anjana Talkies and Vars Studios are jointly starting film production with the series “Kathayanu Karyam (Stories That Matter)” as an answer to that question. The films in the series are going to be based on actual events and literature. The scripts of all five films in the series have been completed. Acclaimed neo-literature writers in Malayalam literature write all of the screenplays.

These films will equally focus on the story’s market value and all other elements, making it a perfect balance of thought-provoking and entertaining.
